So I'm not a huge blog fan just because my life isn't really that exciting, but with my upcoming travels to Sweden I figure this will be a good way to keep my friends and family updated on my life.
Basically I'm not leaving for Sweden for the 27th so I should be enjoying a nice one month break from work right...nope not even a little. Basically my past week as well as this week are filled with preparing/ interviewing for summer internships. Over the past few months I've been applying for a bunch of summer internships in finance and now that recruiting season has begun for banks, the interviews are flooding in. I just got off the phone after a first round interview at Jefferies, and tomorrow at 10am I'll be back at Goldman Sachs for a Superday with their Investment Banking division. Considering that Investment Banking Internships at GS are among the most coveted in the world, my chances probably aren't great. But then again, I did get selected for a Superday, which is an accomplishment in itself so we'll see how that goes.
Overall I had two phone interviews on Monday, one on Tuesday, Superday at GS Wednesday, phone interview Thursday, and another Superday Friday. Hopefully someone will like me enough to give me an offer.
Also, I have no idea how to use blogger. It reminds me of that office episode where Ryan sets up a "blog" for Creed and its just a word document... thats basically me. Having worked in IT for a number of years now, hopefully I'll be able to fancy this up a bit.
